Chiropractic Care

While many people equate chiropractic care with back and neck pain relief, it’s a form of physical medicine that addresses problems in the nervous system, the muscles and the bones. While it does an excellent job of alleviating pain, it also helps the bones move freely and naturally, the way they’ve been doing since birth.

What Are the Benefits?

Many! Here are some of the common ones:

  • Relieves pain
  • Reduces stress
  • Promotes better sleep
  • Increases mobility

Methods for Patients of All Ages

Did you know that there are 165 chiropractic techniques in existence? We can find the one that works for you. No crack or pop? No worries! Dr. Gibson has many light-force techniques that still get fantastic results. You don’t need to hear a popping sound to get an effective adjustment.

Techniques Used

Activator Tool (not protocol)
This small handheld instrument is very gentle, but has a high velocity thrust.

Cox Flexion-Distraction

This method applies gentle stretching or traction to the lower spine.

This manual method uses a quick thrust over restricted joints.

Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization

This manual rehab modality is designed to help people get strong again using their own developmental neurology.

Myofascial release

As more of an instrument-assisted type of release, this technique uses the pressure of the hands to go over that muscle tissue and break up adhesions or knots. Once they break up, the body sends blood to that area to start repairing it.
Thompson Drop Table
This method uses an adjusting table with segmented drops to thrust on your spine at a much more powerful speed, using the most minimal amount of force to do it.

Spinal Decompression

This nonsurgical modality can address disc issues, back pain, sciatica and more.

Laser Therapy

This modern modality decreases inflammation and promotes healing.

Rehab Modalities

We also offer strength training modalities, including kettlebells, band and balance modalities.
